Font awesome icons not displaying

Hi,
I can't get my icons to display on the frontend. Before I start making any code changes wanted to check I'm doing it right. The Gk typography button is enabled and when I click on general icon rule and try and replace "content here..." with "fa-envelope-o" it doesn't work. I've also disabled the editor (JCE) and working with none atm and also tried inputting the html code directly via the source code editor. What's missing or what am I doing wrong?

Please try to switch to the "None" editor or please try to disable HTML filter for the <i> tag: http://www.gavick.com/documentation/gen ... d-editors/

Thanks for the help but the HTML filters were already disabled and when using "Editor- None" I get the content area filled with "&nbsp; " so the problem persists

But you have tried to add the icons after enabling the "none" editor? Because now you can see effects of the content parsing in the TinyMCE/JCE editor.
