how to erase the copy rights note?

I tried to erase the copy rights note at the bottom of the page. I went to the template manager, then features, and I erased the notes at the footer elements area, then I saved the changes and refreshed my page, however the copy rights note is still there.
Is there another way to do it?

Hi,
you have to add there at least one mark, for example dot "." or your name.
If field is empty default value will be replaced.

p.s.
If you don't want to use "copyright' note - add there:
- company phone "Call us ...."
- company slogan "We are the best...."
- links to "Terms of Service" etc. - you can use html tags there
