I installed just the "gk_creativity_J!3" portion in joomla. But I am still trying to figure out how to make everything come out like the demo. Currently my site looks plain three buttons at the top that go to page regularly and no paralax effect or what we do button or anything. Could I get some direction on where to go?

So the easiest way to create desired look would be to download quickstart, install it on local machine or into subfolder, and step by step moving configuration settings from quickstart into your template.
You will need to install ImageShow and NewsShowPro modules and copy their settings.
You should start from loading saved json settings for template.
Most important configuration of Creativiti is that homepage has a "duplicate" of the template with a different menu attached and this layout is configured to work only on homepage.
All the other look is created by custom html modules and our modules which configuration you can copy from quickstart. Make sure to disable tinyMCE (change it to editor-none) while you are copying those custom html modules.
If you will get into troubles with any module, then please either ask in this thread or create new one regarding each topic.
