Hi,

I've installed the Creativity Template (Quickinstaller - Joomla 3.2) on my local server and everything it's ok.
I would like to rename the template folder from "gk_creativity" to "mytemplatename" as explained here:

https://www.gavick.com/forums/130/template-name-change-15710.html?p=72195&hilit=rename%20template%20folder#p72195
https://www.gavick.com/forums/security-and-configuration/changing-template-pathname-30141.html
https://www.gavick.com/forums/117/rename-gk-penguinmail-7082.html

I've renamed the template folder, the "gk_creativity" in "templateDetails.xml" and the language ini file too but unfortunately not work for me.
I've also tried to repack the template and install the new zip with the new template folder name, the new "templateDetails.xml" and the new language ini file but it's still not work.

Thanks for helping me.

But Can I ask you a question,
you want to change template name in Template Manager and/or only template folder name?
If you want to hide real name from your client you can simply change it name from back-end - and hide Template menu item from all.

Changing folder name request some changes in files.

The best method for me was
1) Use new gk template package
2) rename zip name
3) rename folder name
4) rename all folder names from "gk_creativity" to (for example) "gk_new" in : templateDetails.xml
Only in the xml you need to change a few times folder name. Use replace tool in text editor (!)
5) rename gk_new\language\en-GB.tpl_gk_new.ini

Install as a new template (!)
worked for me, tested.
