Article set as default

I have set an article as default home, I want to delete the article and use the original default home page setting (quickstart). I f I try to delete I get the error"Warning - Save failed with the following error: At least one menu item has to be set as Default." How can I go back to the default quickstart hjome page intro?

Is there anyone that can resolve this. I simply want to return to the original config without starting over. Member for 5 years and this is getting slower and slower....

I'm not sure if I understand what is the problem. Can't You simply change the type of this page or reselect the old one as home ? Please send me an access to joomla panel.

Note: If it was that easy, I would have done that but when you try to assign or unassign the article as default, you get the error "Warning

Seems simple but won't work.

Your home element was simply in a different menu. When I selected it as a dfault home everything went back to normal.
