Hmm? Are you sure that no one changed anything (server settings or another admin user or hacker).
Besides, what do you mean "mess" . This is still Joomla not rain forest, where anything could happen.

hmm, Did you tried to update to joomla 3.1 from 2.5 ? maybe there is a reason that cms crashed.

1) I hope that you have backup
2) Copy whole /administration folder from joomla 3.1.5 package (replace files!) - and check again

Because it looks that installer had problem with update and he migrate only database, without all files.

2) copy all files & folders from /administrator folder (ONLY) to your broken Joomla site
3) When FTP client ask you "Replace files" - say YES

but I have logged to your back-end (http://t************.com/trazo222/administrator) - few seconds ago to be sure and I saw that your Joomla 3.x works fine, all buttons, css, images from admin panel etc.

So maybe clean your browser cache.

A Akeeba rescue saved me from losing all data, I worry that these tsunamis occur, 3.1.5 has trouble changing language en-GB to es-ES, that is the source of the problem, not the first time. ..

Hard to say, I've installed Polish language in Joomla 3.x via Language Manager and worked fine.

I don't think that language file can crash Joomla as I saw on your back-end.

Maybe it's good time to check your hosting it has good settings for new version of CMS....
or relax and wait for Joomla 3.2, hmm. (November 6)
