Ipad displaying error

Hi Guys,

I've been trying to fix the ipad issue for quite some time and the only solution I have is to disable the responsive layout in order to make it according to the structure that I want. When viewed landscape on Ipad it is fine but when I turn it to portrait the whole layout went haywire with an orange bar at the right side.

Now that I have disabled the responsive layout the website is ok on pc but when I change to ipad it kind of lag when I scroll downwards.

Please let me know what you guys think. I can enable the responsive layout again if you need me to.

Same for me on Ipad while in Landscape mode with Safari.
With Chrome works without any orange line.

The reason of wrong behaviour on www.btcwholesalecentre.com site is because You have used not responsive modules. First thing I saw is a table where width is forced to 830px since the width of portrait tablet is about 730px. Please try to replace the non-responsive modules and I believe the problem will be solved.

Can You please show me what is the problem? It looks ok to me.

If you use an Ipad 2 and navigate while in landscape mode
you can see an orange bar beside the left of the Intro module..in the upper,
this happens only on Safari and on Ipad..
the other elements of the templates works well..even if sometimes
are not loading...but this is probably due to the WebKit on Ios
because on my Macs it works like a charm and even Safari,the desktop
one,hasn't any offset orange line.

Samuel. Template is responsive and will fit to the device you are opening it with so there is no need to resize.

Marea. Please show me a screen where to look. Im clicking throught your site but there is no orange background visible so I'm not able to check what is causing it.

Sure,here it is,
its a very tiny line 1px large i suppose,
i made it a side by side comparison
in orange and blue (stylecss 2 and 4 )
to make it more visible,
its only happening on Safari in landscape mode..
it seems the menu bar is a little bit more
long than the intro below..sort of..
my device is an Ipad 2 with 6.1

You do not need any documentation for that Please simply put my code in override.css and make sure override is enable in template settings. Than let me know if this helped.

Yes, this code will resize the image a little bit, but will still keep it centered, so only edges will be hidden. Hopefully enought to cover the background.

You can find override option in advanced section of template settings.

Well i had the solution ,with no code mod, using the Occam Razor and just looking better at the width and height of the images in the Gavick demo i found mine too be just hugely exaggerated,something like 3000 x 2800 or more..so i resized backpedaling to 1121 x 746 demo dimension and
the orange line has disappeared and everything went back to just look great and gorgeous.
Thanks for your patience..i know some other forum support that would have flamed me
for much less..that's why i throw them out the window and thats why luckily i found you
and this lovely and deeply smart place.

Thanks for this great words I didn't noticed that you have such big images. Yes it's better to resize them. Anyway if someone else is having the same problem than i checked my code and it works.

Well sometimes the simplest is the better..i was simply..modding too much..
something like putting on your car a super powerful engine without looking at its weight
on the chassis ^^,
as i told you above,i thank you and i suppose that you will have me as a customer
for very long..terrifying isn't it^^?

now is a test folder ,and its running,
what i have to do to move it in the upper folder
in order to make it operative and running?
Do i have to create a folder where to move the old
one and then to move the Creativity ones at its place,
while its all blank and empty,
in order to avoid to mix and mess maybe copying
with some older files preventing me to make it working?
Will it run?
By the way previously i will copy all the files to my
local installation and then if you will confirm it i
will cross my fingers^^ makin the shift and run^^.

Yes You can only copy the files to the upper folder. If You have set a live_site value than it will be a moment to change it to a new location.
