Hi!

I have a problem, but I don't know if it has something to be with the template or if the problem comes from K2.

When I'm trying to add a new item and I want to include an image, I've got this lightbox for the Joomla explorer:

Image

Is this the normal look? There is any form of changing it? It's not very friendly...

Some kind of help? Thanks!

Hi

Is an option to use default CSS enabled in K2 settings ?

Please check how this looks like if You set a default joomla template just for test.

Thanks for your answer.

Default CSS was enabled, and I disabled it but it looks the same. Do I need to do something else?

Yes. Please send me an access to the page so I'll be able to see it myself and tell something more.

Hi

Are You sure this access should give me an option to edit/add new article ? I cannot see an icon for that anywhere. Please check it and point me to where this option can be.

Hi

Now I can see an error 1064 on the page You told me to log into :)

Anyway I can see that You have change the CMS to WP, so I'll need to pass this question to WP programmer. Try to fix this error (in 90% occasions it displays when module is trying to show an article which doesn't exists anymore) and I'm sending an access to a person more oriented in WP.

WordPress? As far as I know, Joomla is still installed on my server

Yeah, there is a problem when there are no articles uploaded to the system. Anyway, I installed JCE Editor, which comes with a beautiful image uploader.

Thanks for your help!

Don't worry, I know we are a lot of newbie webmasters...

Once you are logged in, you can add a new article by clicking in Logout button, and then by pressing the first link 'Añadir nuevo artículo'.

I've been doing some changes, but now I think you can see the link.

Hi

:D I was finally able to see it, but guess what. Form looks correctly for me. I think it may be a cache issue. Please try to open an edit link directly with this url: /blog/index.php/component/k2/item/add?tmpl=component and refresh it could of times. This will reload css files.

It is not that form, the problem appears when you click on 'Imagen' link at the bottom of the window. Try and you'll see it.

Hi

I've compared the same views in panel and frontend, looks like there is a missing css file which is taken from template. Please try hardcode this file in /administrator/components/com_media/views/itemlist/tmpl/default.php

Missing file name is: templates/isis/css/template.css

Hi

Isis template is a name of the template for administrator panel and in file structure You can find it in /templates/isis, but this is not important in this case. Locate this file: /administrator/components/com_media/views/itemlist/tmpl/default.php and add this code at top of it:

Code: Select all
<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="templates/isis/css/template.css" />

this should add the missing css style to image manager popup.

As I said before, there is no 'itemlist' folder at /administrator/components/com_media/views/:
Image

There isn't also an 'isis' folder at /templates/, so that code couldn't work, isn't it?

Hi

Sorry, I've made a typo and than populated this mistake. I meant "imagelist" instead of "itemlist". Very sorry for that.

Ok, I suspected it but I wasn't sure... no problem ;)

I've tried it, but it doesn't work. I had to write the relative path (/../../../../../templates...), but it seems the css is not loading because everything looks the same.

Hi

I've run out of ideas, so was trying to find a solution online. But guess what? They advice the same as we know already: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=706&t=807115

The path to file is wrong. I can see an error 404.

Please activate ftp access back and I'll put it myself to component.php file this time. Looks like this is the file used by all iframes in this view.

Don't worry about that, for the moment I'm using another Image browser without any problems. I have installed it in all my Joomla sites, so when I have some time, I'll check your link or I'll post again around here ;)

Thanks for your help!

Hi

In case You do, than the common file used in all cases is component.php, so I believe adding css files in a header of this file will help.
