Scroll image or size

Is there a way to change the scroll high of main page to reduce the height or width of the image? Or I have to change the image size? If so what is best to be done, and how to?

Could you be more specific about what image do you mean?
What do you want to change. Because the first INTRO animation effect you can simply disable and use standard sideshow, custom code etc.

I want it to look like pic#2, menu to visible at all times and the picture height less. Presently is is showing like Pic#1. What is best way to change the slide fonts to different color, bold, to show more prominently against the pics?
