Icons not appearing

Hi, I'm trying to put some icons from "Font Awesome", but when I save the article icons doesn't appear. I'm using

, but this code disappears when I save the article.

Am I doing something wrong? Or do I need to install something else?

To be honest I'm not sure, but if it's disappearing than I believe it's a joomla removing this or editor. For start please disable Magic Quotes in server settings. Next thing try disable using editor and try use is in a pure HTML code.

Maybe TinyMCE removes the tags without the content - please try to switch to the none editor in your user settings.

Yes, when switching the editor to none, icons are working! Moreover, if I switch again to TinyMCE, icons still are there.

Yes icons are dissapearing while editor is creating it's code for this part, so using a pure HTML will result in creating correct code for this part as well.
