Hi Gavick Pro

How do I turn off Date, Print, Email and Image Gallery links in the K2 items?

I have been into K2 Parameters and turning things off, but they do not disappear.

Maybe this is a K2 matter and not a template matter, so I should look elsewhere?

Kind regards
Gert

Hi,
try in each K2 category settings.
If wont help then you should try to check in Menu Manager in Menu items - to disable icons.

If still wont help, write again, I will think harder.

Thanks, it was the K2 category. And it is actually a nice way to do it, so you can differentiate.

I just hav not worked with K2 before, but I am getting there step by step ;-)

Kind regards

no problem,
I have plan do describe K2 on our Gavick Wiki, because this is still very popular component, although joomla 3.x - offers a lot its features.

Hi

I use it, because you have included it in your demo package. I did not know anything of it before this. If Joomla 3.x can do the same, that would be fine with me.

I am trying to setup a site for use of its content. I am a photographer :-)

Yes there are few differences between typical joomla articles and those from K2. That's I wonder if you really need to learn K2. Hmm, hard to say now.

It could great idea to wrote about it in our documentation Wiki when to choose K2 and when you don't have to.
