Hi Gavick Pro.

I use Falang to make a multi language site at http://gertsterner.com
http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... tent/18210

I can give you access, if I get an email.

I have placed the Falang language switcher module in the "lang" position. But the "lang" position is at the buttom of the page, and I would like to offer this language switch to my customers where the top / main menu is, so I make shure they notice and get the choice of language.

I have made several attempts to make a site with themes from Gavic pro, but I the learning curve is so steap for me, that I always give up and go with a nother theme company.

But this time I will keep trying.

Is it possible to do what I think of here?

Kind regards
Gert

Hi Gavick Pro.

There is no area called "userarea" in the "Creativity" theme, as far as I can see. I have looked for it before I wrote to you but could not see any.

Here is a pdf file showing what I see:
http://gertsterner.com/files/no_userare ... _theme.pdf

Should I do something different?

Kind regards
Gert

Ok, it seems all 3 positions:
- logo
- mainmenu
- userarea
are hardcoded to template and doesnt exist as standard template module positions.
The only way to add lang switcher on a side of menu would be to create own module position.
Here You can find information about adding additional module:
http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joo ... -position/
After that You would need to style it a little bit with css, so it takes a correct place.

Thanks!

I tried, and got the positions. But I lack the skill of CSS, so it just looked funny :-)

I will think about what to do.

Kind regards

Thanks a lot for your offer. I will wait a little, because I now have bigger problems with the site in another string in this forum.

Multi language dosn't seem to like this theme.

I will write again, if I take you up on your offer.

Kind regards
Gert
