Hi, sure It should not be any problem.
Just create Custom HTML module and insert HTML5 code or install module with HTML5 player.

Do you need help with this?

You have few options:

1) http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_video.asp
2) http://www.videojs.com/
3) Module from JED

Remember to add on "intro" position and visibility only on the homepage

I think I didn't explain what I'm trying to do properly...

I know how to create an HTML5 video - my question is if it's possible to have it as one of the intro slides?

Probably yes, but not with our modules :blush:

or I have idea .... use News Show Pro GK5 and insert Video inside articles, hmm?
