K2 image item

Hi,

I have a problem with the dimension of the image item in k2. I have change the image settings to small in the k2 category and I have reload the image in the items but the image still remains very large. Could you tell me how to make it smaller?

Hi , they could be to reasons.
1) cache (image is still in Joomla cache)
2) your category still uses settings from another category which have bigger images

Ok, I see where is a problem. I will try to fix it in your template.

By the way, using image for map - is not really a good solution in modern times we life today, my suggestion is to use active map (google map) with those marks. You can use few components for it - for example PhocaMap.

I would like to ask you something about News Shows Pro GK5 that you have in the header of frontpage.

1) How can I place an external link to the 3 items that they are displayed in frontpage?
2) How can I display a dynamic map (like googlemap or phocamaps) in one of them?
3) How can I change the effect when I move the move over each item?
4) Can I make the style in order to have tabs above the image? I have attached an image to see what I mean

Ok I will try to answer to your all question:

1) How can I place an external link to the 3 items that they are displayed in frontpage?

By default settings you can't. News Show Pro is not working like GK Image Show, so maybe check check settings from second module.

By there is hope, because as a source of content of News Show Pro - you can use RSS feed or XML file - so if you know how to use and prepare the appropriate files is a chance that you will succeed.

Currently, that is not possible.
I never saw slideshow which presented google maps inside. Even using Image Show GK4 it requires customization of code.

3.How can I change the effect when I move the move over each item?

Check Animation tab --> option called Animation transition - there you will find over 20 effects from list.

4) Can I make the style in order to have tabs above the image?

Yes and no, because:
1) you have to use mod_image_show_gk4 not nsp
2) it requires customization of code --> I think "modules\mod_image_show_gk4\styles\gk_game_magazine"

- would be similar and you should start with it.
