Hi,
in joomla 2.5 and Joomla 3.1 you can not "install" templates like it was in old "joomla 1.5" days via FTP.
Now you have to install them.
Please check two things.

1) In back-end: Site -> System Information -> Directory Permissions
Do you have all greens marks?

2) Check how big (in KB) you can upload , so check those two PHP functions
max_execution_time : ???
max_file_uploads: ????

You will find those info in "PHP Information" tab

3) Can you install modules or components or you have problems only with templates?

p.s.
Templates can also be installed via FTP without packaging them. More info here:
http://docs.joomla.org/J2.5:Installing_a_template

Probably you have problems with server settings, all our templates are okey.
Another strange thing is that the "gk_creativity_J!25.zip" file have only ~550kb so shouldn't be any problems even on free hosting services.

p.s.
Please update you Joomla to latest version 2.5.13, it may help.

I cannot see the template in templates manager but By ftp client I can see it.

Before you will try to install again, please delete those file(s) from first try.

I tried the template you installed for me and I figured out that it isn't the quickstart version, right?

Yes, because I can not install quickstart like a normal template, read differences here:http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joomla-templates/qucikstart-joomla-package/what-is-the-difference-between-a-joomla-template-and-the-quickstart-package/

You can install quickstart by your own, but it will be a NEW website with NEW content etc...

So... I uninstalled it! Then I tried to install another one called simplicity but I encountered the same problem.

Why, you wanted this template. We even create a full documentation for almost all of our templates: http://www.gavick.com/documentation/cat ... iguration/
you don't need demo content to build your own website.

I contacted my host and I got answer that they use a 5.2.27 php version. they also tried to install the template and they got en error. Τhey interpreted that as my joomla version (2.5.13) is not compatible with the template.

I feel frustrated!

Since today we have Joomla 2.5.14 :P

But I didn't have problem to install this template even after today upgrade. Sorry I don't have PHP 5.2.x anymore so I can not check. But on PHP 5.3 and PHP 5.4 - if works just fine.

Ask your "GOLDEN HOSTING BOYS" if they can change your PHP version to PHP 5.3, because 5.2 is very old! first version came in 2006! We can not support all hosting problems.

What is your opinion? How come did you manage to install it?

Last time, I've used install [button], I didn't use any "magic" tricks.

Download the latest version of template and try again.

If you need all demo content install Quickstart, then you will get template+modules+bla bla bla , but I'm not sure if you really need it.
By the way, What kind of page you're building ?
