Problem with Creativity in multilanguage language and home

Hello,

here is our website address made with creativity: http://www.guillenphoto.com/cms2.
It is not finished. We are still migrating from Joomla 1.5.

If you click the English flag and then the Home menu on the top of the page, you are redirected to the french version. It works fine in French. We have on template for each language.
I tought it was a problem with SH404SEF because when disabled there is no problem. Here their answer:

"I understand that it works with sh404sef disabled, but this doesnt mean the issue is in sh404sef, and i`m sure this is related with your website template which uses a different code to display your website menu items, we have posts similar to this and the issue was solved after some changes in the template code.

Please do you have an idea to solve that problem?

Tested the site and I didn't see any problem with multilanguage, clicked to English flag and it showed English site, the same for French one.

Hello Don,

As I said in the first post, the problem is not when clicking the English flag but when clicking the Home menu in the top.

Thank you, I got the info. After checking I could realize that it's definitely an issue of sh404SEF though I have never seen the same issue before with this component. It's required to enable plugin "System - Language Filter" so Joomla can save a language cookie value, but after enabling it, the language code in English URL of language switcher module was even striped, if sh404SEF is off, everything is fine. Just try with another template and confirm.

this is a up of my problem.
This is the last issue I have to solve before migrating my data from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 2.5.
But it is a very important one. Please would you help me to find a solution.

This a template issue.
To summarize mu problem here is some information.

Please would you go to our website: http://www.guillenphoto.com/cms2/en/.
There are two menus on the homepage:
- the first one on the top is associated with the Creativity template.
- the second one on the bottom is associated with the Beez5 deafult template.

Now if you click the Home menu on the top, you are redirected to the French version of the site.
If you click the Home menu on the bottom, you are redirected to the English version as requested.

I would like the first home goes to the English version.

Hi,

I've checked and got confused about this issue, not sure why it happens. If you could consider this as a custom work I will debug further and fix for you and this will definitely take a lot of time.
