Hi
i am really sorry to have to ask this question, as I can see from a search that it comes up all the time, and I've managed it myself on other gavick templates in the past, but I'm trying to re-position a logo image in this template. Currently the image is sitting along the top of the logo template position, and I need to move it down about 10px to align with the menu. I've tried all sorts of edits on the template.css file (I do know that the actual edits should go in the overide.css file), but to no effect. Could you give me the overide code i need to use to move the image around, please? thanks.

Please edit: /templates/gk_creativity/css/override.css and add at its end:
Code: Select all
#gkLogo {margin: 20px 0 0;}

First number moves it down.

Remember to enable "CSS override" in template settings - advanced section.

Hi
I think some of the issues were to do with the cache. I am using an optimize plugin, so either this has to be off as well as the Joomla cache, or i have to clear the cache every time I make a CSS edit, which I didn't realise. However, I would still appreciate your advice on moving the logo image down.
Thanks

Hey, thanks very much. I should have been able to do that myself, but just got confused yesterday by the caching issues.

Sometimes its god idea to open source code and open css file in new tab/window. If changes in file are visible then its ok, if not, then some kind of browser/server cache makes things harder.
Great that You have found source of the problem by yourself.
