Image size on K2 items

I cannot change the size of the image on the k2 items. Changing the image size only changes the quality of the displayed image, not its dimensions. This works correctly on the boutique template, so I assume it is some problem with this template and not with K2.

This is how I try to change the size of the image. On my K2 items image view options I have everything set to inherit from category. On the category, if I change in the image view options the image size from large to small it only changes the quality of the image, but the image still has the same dimensions.

I would appreciate your help with this problem.

Scroll down and click on "Badminton Trainer Eddy". The K2 item displays with a large image (low quality). The K2 category has image size set to xSMALL in the the item view options. As I wrote above the item has everything set to default from the category.

Changing the image size from large to xsmall only changes the display quality and not the actual dimensions of the image on the page.

The same can also be seen in the module above it - click on "play tennis". This part is all taken from the demo version. I only changed the photo in the K2 item, nothing else.

Yes - the images are set to have fixed width and height in NewsShowPro, and it is size independed from k2 category settings. So it displays small image from K2 settings and push its size up to met module settings. You could either try to modify module settings and make images smaller, or set category images to better quality/size so they look ok.
