I do not know if it is a template issue but...

we are migrating from joomla 1.5 using Coolfoto to joomla 2.5 using Creativity.
We use K2 to write articles.
We have set up two languages using Joomla directly.

We are setting up the template. We just have one article and two tabs to make the first test.

We also have installed SH404SEF to rewrite our URLs. We just did the installation of the component. If we check the option "Enable URL Optimization" in SH404SEF we do not have access to the frontend of the website.
If we uncheck the site is visible.
We do nothing else.

Do you think that it is a template issue or a component issue?

First thing to try would be to set default template (Beez) and check if SH404SEF it works well with it

Pleas check in file htaccess.txt is renamed to .htaccess in joomla root folder. If yes than send me an access to Your joomla panel.
