Installation problems

Hello!
I can not install QuickStart package, I'm just going to the first screen and nothing more happens.
I have uploaded the files twice but it does not help.
Any suggestions?

Are you installing joomla 2.5 version or v3.x version.

Can you please check following.

1. Make sure Joomla requirements are met, check it against your server specs.
http://docs.joomla.org/Technical_requirements
2. During installation pay attention to folder permissions and server checks.
3. Install normal joomla from joomla.org to check whether issue is with quickstart or your server.
4. Check apache error.logs to see if there are any errors.
5. Post your php, apache, mysql versions.
6. If all fails please send ftp/database and required details during installation such as site name, admin name, admin email etc and I ll try the installation myself.
