The icons I am using that were working on the local testing server are now displaying an empty box with outline.

Examples I've noticed are the next/previous slide buttons on the intro module, the linkedin icon link on the contact form, and the menu icon for tablet/mobile versions.

The URL is www.byronpropertysearch.com.au

Seems some of the files are trying do load from localhost. Please disable css and js compression - I'll check where the problem lies exactly.

Hey Cyberek,

Thanks for getting back so fast. Whereabouts would I disable css and js compression?

Cheers

Is it the gzip page compression in global config?

Yes, also you might check template settings if compression is enabled.

OK Thanks, I've turned off the css and js compression that was on in the template settings.

And the icons have returned...

Is not having the compression on going to slow down load times? If so is there a way to fix this with the compression back on?

Cheers

Seems this was an issue with cached compressed files. Please remove the Joomla cache and try to enable the compression again.
