Hallo,

I have a Problem with the Mobile Menu of my website www.bauredakteur.de. There is a error-Information: "Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/www/web19/html/br2014/components/com_k2/router.php on line 204"

The Menu doesn't work in Mobile-Modus. If I choose for example first "Rohbau" and then "Innenausbau" I get the URL: http://www.bauredakteur.de/blog/bautext ... nenausbau/

I would expect following URL: http://www.bauredakteur.de/blog/bautext ... nenausbau/.

I hope, you can help me. I am not a developer, just an editor.

Kind regards,

Dominik Hochwarth

Hi

It's not an error, just an information from an old PHP way of programming. Nothing to worry about. Please simply disable showing errors in global configuration for server in joomla panel.

I do not understand the wrong linking issue. I'm being redirected to http://www.bauredakteur.de/blog/bautext ... nenausbau/ with any mobile device I have. Do I need to do somehting special before selecting option from menu ?

I do nothing special, but the mobile menu works not in such way I expected. I tested it with my nexus 10 and with my smartphone.

The first choice is ok, but the second choise don't work. If I choose first "Innenausbau" and then "Rohbau", a wrong Url is generated and nothing change at the screen.

Hi

I know what is the problem. It's because of a missing "/" character in front of the url. But I cannot tell where is it comming from. First of all update template to the latest version and if this will not fix the problem send me an access to joomla panel, so I'll check menu structure. Are You using one menu for desktop and mobile ?

Hi

Ok. My second guess was correct. Problem is in menu structure. The subelements are set with external urls, which are wrong and missing "/" in front of them. So You can either add it there or make it not use external urls at all, but a K2 category type instead. Look at the menu. I've corrected external url for Rohbau and changed the menu item type for Innenausbau. Both works.

Hi,

thank you so much. I use external Urls an the mobile menu seem to work. If I change the menu item type I get new Urls and this is not the best solution for a SEO.

Hi

Ok if it works than fine, but best option for seo would be to use proper menu types so it will create urls with canonical values and a extention the webfile is used with. That is the perfect solution, but of course changing links will drop more points than gaining by links structure.
