I am having an issue where the modules are showing on multiple pages even though not assigned to those pages. Thus I had to set everything up differently and now the suffixes are not working. Not sure if i am doing it right but it only works on the home page.

The site needs to have multiple pages that look like the home page but the inner pages modules refuse to go 100% width. I read and tried the "onepage" suffix thing but maybe I am misunderstanding something. Even did the nobody trick and i still have a blank space.

Basically, I need to use Header-Footer positions without main body content BUT each position on each page will have a different either image or color background via css and i need them to be full width. Right now the code only works if I use for example #gkBottom1 but if i add .box1 it only puts the image inside and if i only us gkBottom1 then it makes all bottom1 on all pages have the same image.

I can PM site information if needed. Please help past my deadline and this is driving me crazy!

I guess the problem is that some of your subpages are not added to menu - and then joomla treats them as homepage - displaying exactly same modules as on homepage. To fix that, you might just add them to new menu (it doesn't have to be published), or if it is a problem (for example a lot of articles) - you can add entire category instead of single articles.
This should clear things a little bit
