How to disable Component only on front page?

Hello,

how can I disable the need of showing on any articles/k2 items? I know on some themes there is switch in the template configuration but I cant find it here.

Hi,
you have several methods.
1) Joomla 3.2 allows you to add article which will be empty, so all you have to do is hide title and all date....
2) You can use blank component
3) Hide home article/component using suffix
4) Use feature article - and not to use any
