How to control the frontpage articles

Hi,

I have succesfully installed Rockwall quick start package and it seems to work well enough.

But I have two problems that I simply can't solve even after much effort:

1. How do I control which articles appear on the frontpage, and where? I am aware that the quick start installation uses K2, but setting the articles to featured in K2 does nothing.

2. How do I remove the demo banner on top of the page: "HOME TEMPLATE FEATURES BLOG TYPOGRAPHY"?

1. All articles visible on frontpage are shown thanks to modules, so please tell me exactly which module You have in mind so I'll tell You which module ID is that and You will be able to change the source for this module.

2. What do You mean by "demo banner" ? Do You mean RockWall logo ? You can replace it with Your own logo in template settings.

I don't know where and how to control the frontpage content. Let's say I want to remove the article called "HERE I AM WAITING I'LL HAVE TO LEAVE SOON" and instead add another one. How do I do that? Which module should I use for that?

2. I should perhaps have said menu, not banner. Sorry for that. It's the menu with the items HOME, TEMPLATE, FEATURES, BLOG, TYPOGRAPHY. I can't find that in the backend and I want to remove/disable it.

1. This is News Show Pro module with an ID of 648, when You will edit it's settings You can change the source to Your category so module will show articles placed there.

2. Remove/disable it entirely or just some of the options ? If You mean some of the options than a solution is to go to Menu Manager in joomla panel and see Main Menu. Here You will have a list of all elements ready to edit. If You want to disable it all, than in template settings in Menu section You will find an option to do that.

PS: I would not advice changing egxisting articles. It's better to add new one to avoid problems with article's author.

Ok, but it's only demo data so far so I guess that would be ok.

If You will change demo articles and than for example remove a demo user who created I guarantee You will just see an error that "User with ID XX do not exists" and all the articles will require to change the author manually.
