Is there any way of loading the joomla component output in a different position and not mainbody?
e.g. tags position?

what would be the changes that need to be made in the template files?

Hi, in general it won't be easy operation.
But there are few possibilities.

(1) Create template "clone" and modify gk_rockwall\layouts\default.php code - and use only for selected pages.
(2) Insert component inside module - you have to use additional extensions to do that.

Ad 2) Check those extensions from JED:

a) Plugin Override or Joverrider
b) Plugin Include Component
c) Component Loader - this commercial module allows you to load any component in any available module position.
d) ...but I'm sure there must be more on JED in "Embed & Include" category

If won't help, hire web developer.

p.s.
You can always request support from us, but you need take in your mind that customization is not regular Template support.

OK, thanks for the reply!

These are the solutions that I had in mind, and just asked to see if there were other alternatives.

I 'll look into it!

Sure, all depends want you really want to do. Sometimes using the simplest method is the best over a long period of time. You have to think about future, what you do when Joomla 3.5 will be ready.
