Changing Home page from Post to Static

Hi, I currently have my home page setup as a post and want to change it to a static page. How would i do this?

Hello,

There are two ways:

1) You can enable theme customizer and set some page for displaying in the front page
2) You can enable mainbody module position in the theme settings and publish a widget which will replace the posts.

could you explain 1 and 2 in a little more detail with reference to where and how?? thanks

2) In the theme settings on the "Basic" tab you should have an option "Widgets Display on Homepage" - if you enable it, then the widget from the mainbody sidebar will be displayed instead of posts.
