Widget Rules Styles

I love your widget rules and how you can style a widget from a drop-down menu!! I've been using them with a "Call To Action" widget that has fields for Title, Image URL, etc.. (see screen grab). What I would like to do is style them to a simple one column table with tittle in the top row, content/description under it and a more details/action button below. Example: http://drshawnadarou.com/womenshealth/e ... etabolism/ See the grey table boxes with descriptions of each condition? How can I style the widget to do that?? I find that your GK News Box widget comes close to my needs but instead of an image I would like to have a text description in it's place. Is there a way to do this?? Thanks.

You can use custom CSS class, and add new class to that widget. Then with use of override.css You can create styling for the widget with that custom class.
If You need help with styling, please post a widget with added custom class somewhere that You can share link to, and I'll do css styling for You.

Go ahead and look in there. That theme (the active one) uses a CPT called "Portfolios". It has an attached widget called "post type: portfolio" where you add the title, content, link, category, etc... That post type is styled as a table (like the one i showed u in http://drshawnadarou.com/womenshealth/e ... etabolism/)

Basically, it displays portfolio posts in tables that can be arrange on a page according to order, number, carousel, etc.

If you can give me the custom code to add that would be very helpful. let me know if you need anything else.

BTW, i love your GK News Boxes. I wouldn't want to change them but I would need something similar with that new styling that i'm looking for.

BTW, i believe the CPT files are kept in a sub-directory called "lib" under the theme directory. Let me know if you need more info to make this work. Thanks.

use the same user/pass for http://integralmedicine.ca/wp-admin/ where the storebox theme is located. That's the location I need the styling done to. The http://drshawnadarou.com/wp-admin/ is just an example of what I'm looking for. Thanks. Sorry for any confusion.

sorry for any confusion. I need the option to display "posts" as series of small table boxes on any page. The table boxes top row would have the title of the post and the row below would be the content (partial content - not the entire thing) with a read more link below that that would take me to the post page with the full content. Is that better?? Thanks

I'm not an advanced coder and don't know anything about wp template development but it seems that it might require a separate CPT with an associated widget that can be dropped into your page blocks.

Ok, first of all - every time You replay to your own message, Your topic goes to the bottom of replay queue .
Secondly - If You can put custom css suffix to a widget, then You dont need to change anything in php files - the only thing to do is to create styling for elements inside of that widget.
Now, please reply if that is correct thinking on my site, or am I wrong?
