I want to create new pages and would like to add/insert widgets (and spacers between them) to the body. How do I do this? Thanks.

I need more details, you want to create a completely new widget position or you want to use existing position?

You can create new page, and using Widget rules you can display widget only on this page.

yes, the widget rules are cool but the option of: control panel -> add new page -> and in the blank field have the ability to insert widgets via short code drop down menu next to your short code drop down allows for custom stacking options. Plus widget rules appears to only apply to set template pages but not new pages that I create via the "add page" option. Maybe I'm wrong but I didn't see an option to apply a widget rule to any other pages other than the ones set. My method is just a different way to create a page that is more customizable and is done at the "add page" stage. obviously this might conflict with widget rules but the option to do this would be helpful as far as customizing and ordering page widgets.

Widget Rules can be set to every single page (not only page template). When you add new page by control panel, check the permalink - there's page id, then go to widget rules - set no pages expecting -> choose pages and then you can specify Page ID, Title or slug, then click add page and save Widget, that's all.
