Separator image in highlighter gk1 1.5.1

I am using highlighter_gk1 v 1.5.1 on a Joomla 1.5.10 site to display content item titles from specific categories in a horizontal scroll.

How can I add an image icon as a title separator in the crawl (much of the same way as a bullet icon in front of the title)? Any ideas?
