Problems by removing the underline from hyperlinks

I am using highlighter-gk1 news ticker.

Could some tell how to remove to underline in news ticker. but when the user clicks the link it should be clickable. I want my banner messages appear as in the demo, without underlining. I've tried many ways and I can not remove the underline. appreciate your prompt response.
