Whenever I want to share an article on social media I cannot 'retrieve' the opengraph data....

For example here:
http://www.conaction.info/nieuws/97-pan ... -aangepakt

I used this template on another site and here it's no problem. I spent hours in finding the solution and even updated the files inside the template without any results...

Any idea how to solve this?

Hi

Are You sure open graph plugin is enabled ? It looks like there are only informations about site, not article included.

Anyway Your article is a little bit different than our open graph is used to. For example image is not separated but used a a content elements. I would advice to use some 3rd party plugin for opengraph in this case. Here is one I've been using before and know it works good: http://extensions.joomla.org/extension/phoca-open-graph

Can you point me to the right Gavick Plugin for this? I downloaded the file from the quickstart package and it's running. What I don't get is the fact that I use the template on some other sites and it doesn't give issues. These sites have the same setup and way articles are made.

I will investigate fuhter...

Ok, just investigated and tested a lot (I've been working on this issue for hours...). All my websites on the same server have this (suddenly). I am not sure what the cause is, but I am using a VPS, so I will investigate into this.

Hi

If it affected all the sites at the same time than it may only means that Facebook API has changed for that part. In such case use of a 3rd party plugin will be a must since our OG plugin was not updated yet. Try use http://extensions.joomla.org/extension/phoca-open-graph , I had some good experience with it before.

Hi

In that case I'm pretty sure something has changed in FB API. You will have to wait till Phoca updates it or looks for a different plugin.

Just tested it today (without any updates) and now it works. I am clueless, but glad it's solved!
