How to change mobile menu layout on Storebox?

I've done a lot of modification to this layout in the past, but the mobile layout has been the same. But since the usability isn't the best in it and for example Joomla Photo template has a lot better mobile navigation, I'm wondering how big of a change it would require to change the navigation for mobile on Storebox to look like mobile navigation on Photo template?
Anyone know where should I at least start with trying to make those changes?

StoreBox uses device's native "select" input type while never templates uses side menus (off canvas) etc. Porting of off canvas menu is possible, but requires some css + javascript work. While I can support you in small problem, we do not support such changes within our technical support.
