Hi,

We've installed and configured a storebox based website, but struggle where to find the string to change the currency symbol in the popup cart. It should display the Euro sign, but now shows a strange string of characters (see attached screenshot). Virtuemart is configured correctly, because the VM cart and mail confirmation do show the Euro symbol. Any idea how to modify the popup cart to show the correct currency symbol?

Thanks,

Richard.

The problem is within VM itself - please check this link:
http://www.fuxdeliacosmetics.nl/index.p ... rt&lang=nl
it doesn't display currency correctly. Please ask on a VM support forum for this case.

Hi,

I disagree. To test your suggested approach I've rename the template cart module (mod_virtuemart_cart in the templates\gk_storebox\html folder) to a dummy name, which really causes the default VM cart to be used. If I then access the link you provided the currency symbol (€) is displayed correctly (see the attached screenshot). This suggests to me the template cart module contains the error, so can you please support me here?

Thanks,

Richard.

Seems like a bug in our template. From what I see it does no longer happens as you have changed symbol to EUR. I'll report that issue to our devteam and write back as soon as I get an answer.

Correct. To be sure the currency is displayed consistently, I've changed the € symbol to EUR text, but we would like to use the € symbol instead, so if you have a fix, please let me know.

Thanks.

That tip with renaming template's version of the cart was best test you could do. Now it is in the hand of our dev's.
I could also try to fix it by myself. To do so please send me a PM with:
1. URL to your website
2. login and password of user with admin/super-admin privileges (please create one for me)
3. ftp data (host, user, password)
4. link to this thread
and simple info how to change currency (exactly where in vm configuration).

Hi,

Any news on the update you mentioned in your last post for this topic? I noticed the updates show version 3.19 from oktober 2015, but no entry in the release notes that the issue is solved in that version.

Thanks,

Richard.
