Hello,

I installed the storebox template for Joomla 3,with a quickstart installation. While I was trying to create a new products page in Virtuemart, I realized that the save button did not work.

When I did some research I realized that the Joomla version 3.4.1 and Virtuemart v. 3.0.6.2 (which you are packaging together along with storebox template) are not compatible with each other. The virtuemart v.3.0.6.4 has been made compatible with Joomla3.4.1 after it was reported in virtuemart forum.

Please read the thread http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=129537

I assume some amount of integration testing must have happened before creating the quickstart package!! Then why was this not caught?

Now I need to upgrade to Virtuemart 3.0.6.4, or uninstall old version and reinstall the new virtuemart 3.0.6.4 (If I uninstall I will lose sample data). Any other workaround is tedious.

Can you please provide me a new install package with joomla3.4.1 with virtuemart3.6.0.4 so that I can install and configure things smoothly, please!!!

Thanks!

Sorry but I cant do anything about it alone, I'm just a moderator.
Perhaps you could simply update VM in quickstart and it should resolve the issue temporally.

VM3.0.9 will be added to quickstart as soon as possible. I'll let you know when it will be ready (hopefully tomorrow).

Hi any update on this?? I need to make a decision on whether to proceed with K2store instead of Virtuemart. When can I expect the new quickstart package with latest virtuemart to be ready? Thanks.

Hi. Thanks. I downloaded the latest version and installed the same. Now I am able to create products in VM. But I have new issue now. I want to change the currency to Indian rupee. To change the currency, you need to change go to Shop link under VM. When I click on Shop link under Virtuemart, I get the following error. Is there a quick solution for this ?

Now I am seriously considering using K2store instead of VM, but my only concern is, does K2store support all payment methods, bank transfers etc? Please advise.

Thanks for your help. I used the solution given in the following link to install TCPDF library. It was not available with the installation.
