Is it OK to update Joomla?

Hey guys,

Prob the newbiest of questions, but was wondering whether it's ok to go ahead and update the Joomla once having this template installed?

Hi,

I installed the 3.2 quickstart package...

Upon completion of the installation, I was told there was a new version of Joomla available. I clicked update and went through the process, I just wondered was it ok to do this?

I guess I upgraded from 3.2 to 3.2.1...

I can re-install again, just wondered what if any problems it might cause...

Update from Joomla 3.2.0 to 3.2.1, or next if will come 3.2.2, 3.2.3 will be safe - you don't have to worry. Those are / will be only Joomla core fixed - they will not break components, modules, templates etc.

But of course when Joomla 3.3 will be ready - you have to make a full backup first , but we will inform.
