Hello,

I have some problems with installation Store Box (Joomla 3). When I add data base details and I want to go to the next stage, I get this information: JLIB_APPLICATION_ERROR_LAYOUTFILE_NOT_FOUND. I am sure, that all DB details are correct.

I use netstrefa.pl as a hosting provider. They upgraded my account to PHP 5.3.6.

How can i fix it? Please help me.

Best regards,
Radek

First,
Could you on subfolder install Joomla 3.1.5 (without gavick quickstart) downloaded from joomla.org.
I want to know if this problem is connected with server settings or not.

Second,
Please check if you copied all files from quickstart. I always use Akeeba Kickstart to unzip package to be sure.

I tried to install Joomla 3.1.5 downloaded from joomla.org on subfolder and it works fine. I used the same DB details, as before. I didn't use the Akeeba Kickstart, so it doesn't seem to be a server problem, I think.

If this is a serious problem, I will try to install Joomla Quickstart 2.5 with this template, not 3.1.5.

Please let me know, what should I do?

Hi Paweł,

did you find, where the problem is? I checked your quickstart template verion with Joomla 2.5 and it works correctly. But I realised, that this verison isn't adapted to mobile devices, so I have to use Joomla 3.0.

Best regards

Hi,
could you check another Quickstart based on J3 ?

What version of database you have?

It's any change to change PHP version from 5.3 to current 5.4

I'm sorry, but I'm guessing where it can be a problem. No one else had it.

Hi,

I am experiencing the same problem. Quickstart template will not install database and gives that error message. I have tried different templates and different file upload method. Joomla3 core installation works fine and installing template package works fine. Only the quickstart gives error. I have tried to pinpoint the problem, but still no success. If anyone would give me a hint would be great.

Hi,

Now I installed the quickstart package with other hosting company and I had no problems. I guess that the problem should be with certain PHP version or settings.

NOT working with:
PHP Version 5.3.27

IS working with:
PHP Version 5.4.17

Hi everyone,

try to rename the class 'InstallationViewFTP' into 'InstallationViewFtp'.
You will find this class in the installation/views/ftp/view.html.php.

This works for me.
Hope this helps you too.

Well done Michael! If it is not a secret, how did you manage to pinpoint that issue?

yep, also here, still have the problem on mSocial 3.x install, but the renaming also worked fine for me.

Maybe someone can update the installation package for future users?

Cheers

Thanks a lot, this worked for me too. However, why on earth haven't Gavick corrected that bug? I just downloaded the template and your fix is months old.

That is not very PRO, Gavick!
