SHOPS & TRENDS don't display any item.

Hello,

I tried to find documentation how to customize News Show Pro GK5 to make it works as in your demo template (Shops & Trends). If is available any docs, please let me know.

In options of this module in position "data source" I selected "VirtuMart Categories" and my categories. In VirtueMart this categories have products.

Now I see only Shops & Trends text and nothing else. What should I do more? Could you give me some advices how to makes it work? Or if any docs/tutorials are avaliable, please provide me an url.

Did you changed your virtuemart language to other one? Because often it causes big problems with fetching products.

Yes I tried to set both settings (joomla default language & VirtueMart language) to polish - please look at the attachments.
Should I change any other settings?

Please try to set the language override to pl_pl in the virtuemart additional settings in the module.

Do you mean to set "Polish (PL)" language in details configuration this module? (please look at the attachment).
I have did it, but nothing happend.

I have second problem and maybe it is connected with this one. In the VirtueMart front page I see categories but without pictures (pictures is unavailable). I added them during category configuration, but I see no picture (please look at the attachment). Maybe it will be help for you.

Could you explain me why should I do form this url? This instructions explain how to move products and categories from one language to another. In my case I changed language to polish, made new categories, products and shop works fine. If I make changes according this instruction I will have demo product and demo categories in polish version. I supposed that problem is in a different place.
I have changed language to english in VM for a moment and demo products have appeared. After that I tried to make changes in Shops & trend module (News Show Pro GK5) but in the source date section I see only categories from the polish version of VM (my new categories). I tried to change language to English but nothing happened.

Please, could you tell me how how can I check why News Show Pro GK5 module doesn't wants to display products from selected categories? Any kind of debug?

You can try to use the en_gb language suffix override in the VM additional settings.

As I mentioned above, I changed VM language for a moment to en_GB and nothing happend. But I made some deeper tests.

Situations:

1.
VM language: en_GB
NSP GK5: language en_GB
Web page language pl_PL
NSP GK5 data source - VM Categories - and I can choose only from polish version of VM categories

Trends&Shop - displays nothing, only title.

2.
VM language: en_GB
NSP GK5: language pl_PL
Web page language pl_PL
NSP GK5 data source - VM Categories - and I can choose only from polish version of VM categories

Trends&Shop - displays nothing, only title.

3.
VM language: en_GB
NSP GK5: language All
Web page language pl_PL
NSP GK5 data source - VM Products - and I put there IDs polish products

Trends&Shop - displays nothing, only title.

4.
VM language: en_GB
NSP GK5: language All
Web page language pl_PL
NSP GK5 data source - VM Products - and I put there IDs [b]english products[/b]

Trends&Shop - displays nothing, only title.

Conclusions

1. In NSP GK5 I can see only polish categories. Language changes in VM, NSPGK5 oraz webpage are not influence on category lists in NSP GK5.

2. NSP GK5 displays english products, if webpage language is set to en_GB. Languages of NSP GK5, VM are not important.

3. NSP GK5 display only english products. If i tried to put in DataSource field polish produts IDs, NSP GK5 ignores them.

Maybe NSP GK5 component is set by hard to en_GB and I any changes don't make sense - this is first issue.
Second, any kind of language changes didn't make changes in the category list in NSP GK5 module.

I hope we are closer to find solutions.

I think that we have some misunderstanding - please try to set the language prefix (polish and english) in the option marked in my attachment.

I've upgraded this module. Now I have 1.6.4

I tried to set polish language in override field, webpage language, VM language. I tried to change source from products to category. Nothing happend, I still can't see products, only title.

What can I do with this? It's really simple instalation, from quickstart.

Yes, I tried to put there en_GB, then pl_PL, tried to change VM and webpage language. No effect.
What can I do with this? It's very simple installation from quick install pakage and I expected that everything will work fine ;/

The problem was connected with two settings:
1. I had in field Language override pl_PL, but there should be pl_pl (or appropriate in your language) - this filed is case sensitive.
2. I tried to display zero stock quantity products and in this situation I should switch on "Show out of stock products".

After that products appear in main page.
