Virtuemart is not installed or any categories are available

Hi,
strangely enough, I have entered the Shops & Trends module config to change the size of the thumbnails, as a result the module (under "DATA SOURCE") started to say: Virtuemart is not installed or any Virtuemart categories are available.

But my categories are perfectly there and working! I have also tried to restore the original thumbnails settings but of course it still shows the error Virtuemart is not installed or any Virtuemart categories are available.

Any help?

I autofixed it by restoring the english language by admin...
What about if I would like to set another language?
