No VM products in Shopping and Trends

I am unable to see any products in the Shopping & Trends module on the header_bottom position.
The title shows fine, but no products. I can go to the store and see products, and I have an Image Show GK4 on the same page whic will show individual VM products (but it will not show categories).
I have tried changing the S&T module to data source to individual products as well but to no avail. Still no products.

Do you use multi language VirtueMart? If yes, are you sure that products, categories, front-end and back-end language is the same?

I will give that a check.

Changed so that it is not multi-lingual. Still nothing.
I do have en-GB and en-US installed on Joomla if that may be an issue?

Success...well mostly. It is a work in progress
I recreated the module (diligently) and was able to get items to show up. whew.
I now need to research removing the "Add to cart" text that shows up.
BUT, when I click one of the items it opens in the shop, but it seems to be a slightly different template that does not have the menu.
I am thinking it is just a menu assignment issue.

really enjoying the look and feel of this template.

Probably the template is not assigned for this page or just there is no menu item related with this view. Creating menu item related with this product/cart should resolve your issue.
