Hi,

I have two items in the main menu (Home and Shop) where I show my categories, so the menu item type for both is 'VirtueMart Front Page'.

I would like to show categories -> list of products page-> product detail page at the Shop page like in the Store Box demo template and access to the list of products page when a user clicks any categorie at Home page too.

Right now, when a user clicks any categorie at Home or Shop page, the list of products is shown at de Home page, but obviusly this way is wrong. How could I resolve this issue?

Thanks.

Hello,

Did you tried to add the menu items for specific categories in your shop?

Hi dziudek,

The two items (Home and Shop) in the menu are 'VirtueMart Front Page' type in order to show the categories in both pages, at Home and Shop. I would like the user could view the list of products in the Shop page (like demo Store Box template) by clicking any category in the Shop page or by clicking directly any category at Home page. It´s work fine, the issue here is that the list of products and products details page is shown at Home page under the Slider and it should be shown at Shop page like the demo Store Box template.

I´m thinking that it happends because there are two 'Virtuemart Front Page' items (Home and Shop) and Home is the main item in the menu, then Virtuemart component works in the Home page rather than Shop page.

The issue should be easy to resolve by redirecting the links to the Shop page but I don´t know how to do this.

Do you have any idea?

As I have asked earlier - did you tried to add menu items for specific virtuemart categories? Then every category will have a separate subpage instead of being displayed on the homepage. Joomla! displays every content without menu item on the frontpage.
