Hello, I have enabled plugins cache (system-gk & gk extended system-cache) and also in the template.
I am not clear is whether they also have to have enabled the progressive or conservative cache in global configuration also?
My website has 2000 products.

You should use conservative cache in global configuration. Please also make sure that the order or plugins is correct according to this tutorial » GK Cache & GK ExtCache Plugins – GavickPro Documentation
