I have a problem with footer position...

I removed default text in the section copyright in the template.
But on the website this text whole time are displays!
It helps to insert a space in the field copyright of the template, but...

...I have insert custom html module in this position.
But inserting the custom html module in footer position doesn't work on the site!

Why?!

Hello,

The "footer" is not a module position - it is a place for the content from the copyright text. When the copyright text is blank, then it displays the default footer. You can change it in the layouts/blocks/footer.php file directly.

Hi!,

Is there a way to display the footer even if the copyright text is blank and the default footer text in footer.php is deleted?

But the change in the in the layouts/blocks of the template does not interest me, because I can not do it in many languages ... How, then put in the position of multilingual text footer?

@exquisitemk - it should be displayed anyway if you didn't removed the container around the text.

@IT.integro - please try to place it on the footer_nav module position (on the position where the footer menu is located)
