offline page not showing when site set to offline in globals.. Fresh install with no changes

Hi.

offline page not showing when site set to offline in globals.

And what you see , blank screen ? normal page ??

First, check if your settings has been saved in configuration.php
Must be:

Code: Select all: public $offline = '1';

Second, if you has been logged on front-end you always will see website.
Third, I always suggest better solution than default offline mode --> SiteLock : http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... line/18971

or try others from this category.
