News Show GK5 and VirtueMart

Hi,

I have install Storebox quickstart installation and i have problem configure the News Show GK5 to work with VirtueMart categories or products with.

In the demo the News Show GK5 is configured to display categories/articles from k2 instead of VirtueMart. I did change it to display VM category or products but its not working...

Any help would be appreciated

Could you give me module name? I don't see the source set to K2 on this template..

Sure i can, its News Show Pro GK5 ver.1.3.2. I have upload some screenshots with the problem

I'll take this thread over, since I believe Bartek is busy with recent Joomla 3.2 updates. Please send me an FTP and joomla panel access along with site url.

Just have a one small advice to not bump Your own threads. Each bump is moving Your question to the end of the line and You need to wait longer for answer.

i will have that in in but the problem is that when i create a new post after 2minutes i cant edit why is that??

Sometimes we forget stuff and thats why i make too many post so more of those double triple etc post its not bumps its what i have forgot to write in the first place

Anyway i have PM you the credentials for my domain access....

The NSP mode You have selected is called NewsBlock so it was never meant to support VM, since products are not considered as news, but after some extra implementation I was able to extend this module style to support VM products as well. Please remember that right now You have a custom made version of NSP hacked by me and an update will erase my changes.

its exactly what i want, i have a small problem as i can see the linkable tittle or the More Details doesn't lead anywhere whet you hit it. It should lead to the product details page..... (in all 4 products)

Also about the future update is there a way to give me the changes you made for do that my self next time when the new version of NSP will be apply.???

Changes were quite extensive, so I think it will be better if I provide You with a changed file so You will be able to replace it in case of module update. File should be uploade into /modules/mod_news_pro_gk5/portal_modes/news_blocks/controller.php

Ok. Great to hear it. For everone interested in this path I can tell it will also working with a J3.2 version of this module. All You need to do is to replace the file /modules/mod_news_pro_gk5/portal_modes/news_blocks/controller.php with the one I've attached and News Blocks style will be extended with VM support.
