I know that the question is quite similar to the one concerning the shop mainpage, but in this case is about the homepage and product loaded with NSPGK5

I would like to decide the ordering of the products

Now I can decide to order by id, by date, by name...
is it possible to order products by one specific order? If I try to put IDs in order, like 89,93,87 the result is displayed like 87,89,93

Field to select products by ID it is only for data purpose, products will be always sort by sort order. There is no other option to sort data in News Show Pro than date, name etc.,
