Hi Guys,

I started off with this template using the quick start package to find my way around. For the actual site I have just used the template and I cannot get the News Show module on the front page to behave or look the same as it is in the quick start. For example, the font size is way off and there is no circle when you hove over an item.

Can you point me in the right direction to fix this? I have no idea where to start. I have attached two imaged to show the differences.

Thanks,
Steven

Hi

Here is a documentation with all module settings: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... on-joomla/

Please show me Your site, so I'll see if there is no conflicts changing it's behaviour.

Hi

I can see what the problem is. You are trying to use a "product gallery mode", but it was designed for virtuemart products only. If You want to use it for articles as You have it right now than You need to select a different style. I'm afraid there is no way use the same style in this case.

Hi There,

In the Joomla 3 version of this template, it works correctly using K2 articles and not Virtuemart. Should I not be able to achieve the same results with the Joomla 2.5 template?

Thanks,
Steven

Hi There,

To follow up with my previous statement, the URL below is to a development site which uses the module in exactly the way I need it to, linking to K2 Items and not Virtuemart.

Hi

Did You configured a module on this page ? I think it was modified, because the code is still displaying parts of VM related lines. Please take a look at the screen I've done on http://dev.recupeit.co.za/ Can I please have an access to this site to see the setting which made it possible ?

Hi,

In this case the QuickStart was used so the only change I had to make was chose a different K2 categories in the data source section. No other changes were made.

Can you provide me with an email address to which I can send you login details for the site?

Thanks,
Steven

Hi

Ok. I think it's not showing over animations, because it's build into template. Please try to allow using module javascript and css in External Files section of module configuration. I hope it will help, but I'm not 100% since this animation may be build into template and is not supported by module without VM. Basicaly two different implementations.
