Speed of first page and image slow charging

Hi all, thanks for your precious supporto.

I'm using this beautiful template whit virtuemart 2.0.22b and i'm experiencing a problem on the first page of the site:

when i open the first page i can see empty (white) space in the bottom of the page up to the images inside IMAGE SHOW GK4 where charged.
Is possible to open the background immediately covering this empty space or not?

Is also possible to increase the speed of IMAGE SHOW GK4 charging of first image?

You mean this place where loader is visible ? If yes there is no option to change this background only for loading time. The time is the same for all slides and you can adjust animation speed in module configuration. There is no option to change this value for one slide only.

There are two different problems, the first one and most important is the too long time that the HOME page needsto be charged, and when it is charging there is a lot of white (empty) space down the main body up to the IMAGES inside the module where charged.



The second problem is the speed of images charging inside IMAGE SHOW GK4 module, it needs about 2-3 seconds to show the first image before start slideshow. What can i do to increase that speed?

The Image Show loading time is related with website loading time. The animation will start only when all images are loaded. In your case it takes a lot of time, why you can check here http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/eB5Han/http://www.rosa-blu.it/negozio2/

Your server response time is very slow and you should optimize your graphics (background and slideshow). Please look how it works on our demo site, there animation starts much faster that in your case.
