Hi,
the joomla dashboard displays some upgrade tools:
K2, NSP GK5,and Joomla 2.5.11
Due the fact we've made some modifications to the NSP GK5 in example I wonder if is sure to upgrade to the last versions? Will the upgrade override the changes we've made?

Thanks,
Kind Regards,

It will override all changes. Please back up your modified files first, then You can use them to create modification on new modules.
Updates are not mandatory. With our themes and plugins in most cases they bring new features and bugfixes.

In my joomla admin panel, a K2 upgrade option is available. Will it modify the files (css and so on) if I upgrade it?
Thanks,

Our template overrides some of K2 views and CSS. As long as You havent modify core K2 files, then You are safe to upgrade.
Just in case - please backup you site first.

It depends - if You have modified files inside template directory - overriding original module files - the changes will stay. If You have modified files inside of module folder - then all changes will be lost.

I see a new Virtuemart version ready to upgrade, 2.0.20b
Do you Gavick team think it will be compatible with our template and joomla version?

I would suggest to wait for some time. I have beed testing new virtuemart with some of our templates, and everything works fine, but You can't be 100% sure, specially on live site I would suggest to either wait, or create a copy, upgrade there and test everything very precisely.

Thanks Cyberek,
I know VirtueMart 3.0 is not compatible with joomla 2.5 , isn't it?
Then I'll wait, as you said, and in case I upgrade, I will make a copy.
