News Show Pro GK5 and Virtuemart

Hi,

from the Storebox quickstart installation, I tried to change the data source of "Thumbinals NSP GK5" module, published in "mainbody" position, from K2 categories to Virtuemart categories.

As you can see in attached image (firebug console), the GK5 fails to show the thumbs, while the tag "figcaption" is ok.

Please, can you help me to run your nice module with Virtuemart categories?

Does your products have any images set.
Make sure create thumbnails option in module settings in on.
Also check if GD library is installed in your server.

Yes, products are still those of quickstart pack, all with the same demo image (i.e. ademo_vm63.png).

Create thumbnails is on, all thumb setting here:

In my PHP configuration:
GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.1.0 compatible)

Please send me or post your website link so I can check its html, maybe another css is hiding the images, if this is not the case then I would need admin access to check your settings.

Changed data mode to Product Gallery . Check if that is how you wanted it.

The effect that I would get is the one in the demo (see image), but with Virtuemart products as datasource, instead of K2.

It's possible? If I change the data source from K2 to Joomla Categories all works fine, but when the data source is Virtuemart the module does not show images.

I have to check this but first thought I don't think they are in a same league with K2 and Joomla Articles as both K2 and Joomla Articles have image, title and content of item text where in Virtuemart there is price etc.

Still I ll check to see if anything can be done when I do get some free time.

I'm having this same problem...My frontpage product thumbnails are all too big for the slot...how can I change my thumbnail size?

Hi all! I have the same problem: I want to show 2 catgories from Virtuemart in the template gk_storebox like the module configured in quick installation but only works for me when K2 is selected.
